Enrollment Clerk
The Enrollment Office manages tribal membership records, issues Tribal ID cards, and processes enrollment-related forms such as proof of descendancy and address or name changes. This office serves as the primary point of contact for membership documentation and eligibility.
What does an Enrollment Clerk do?
The Enrollment Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating the official tribal roll, processing new applications, issuing Tribal IDs, verifying blood quantum, and generating descendancy documentation. They ensure that all information remains accurate and secure while upholding the standards set by the tribal constitution and enrollment ordinance. Additionally, the clerk may provide support for ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act) inquiries and collaborate with other departments when tribal citizenship or status needs to be confirmed.
